Proposed by the bottler Ian MacLeod, this whisky is a good mix of peat and sherry. The distillery is not revealed but this single malt is produced and aged in Oloroso sherry casks on the island of Islay.
Tasting notes from Ian MacLeod:
The first impression goes on a thick peat then a more fruity sensation, sultanas and dried fruits, barbecued banana and a note of custard and vanilla. In the final, the peat returns accompanied by a sherry oakiness.
