Description
Just in front of the Lagavulin distillery on the sea side are the ruins of Dunyvaig castle which once housed the lords of the isles and one can imagine that the legends are not far away such as this flaming phoenix which symbolises the return of the king. This Lagavulin 12 year old cask strength whisky is proposed as part of Diageo's special release 2022. It is made from a combination of virgin American oak casks and refill casks of intensely peated whisky.
