Tintin fans already know the distillery by name, but here is something to deepen the subject with this single malt distilled 2011 and bottled at cask strength with its natural colour in 2022 after 11 years of maturation in a first fill Limousin oak hogshead #20/379-4. A unique cask, selected for the Swiss market by Best Taste, gave 387 bottles.
Distillery Tasting Notes: Layers of melted sugar and nutmeg spice are followed by clove studded orange and dark cocoa nibs. There are juicy raisins in syrup and toasted coconut before warming oak spices.
