Bottled without dilution, this Glenfarclas 105 may surprise the uninformed. A powerful, fruity whisky with a slight smoky note that can also be enjoyed with a few drops of water. A young whisky that warms us up, elaborated with ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks assembled to find the desired 105 proof.
Tasting notes of the distillery:
On the nose: complex, oaky, apples and pears and a tempting dark toffee sweetness.
On the palate: dry and assertive, develops quickly to reveal a rich spiciness, combined with a hint of oak ans sherried fruit.
