Description
The Glenallachie distillery was founded in 1967 in the heart of Speyside. In 2017, Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson, who between them have over 100 years of whisky knowledge, acquired the GlenAllachie distillery and a stock of aged whiskies, which they are sharing with us like this single cask. A whisky distilled on 23 February 1990, aged in the virgin oak barrel no. 3593 for 30 years and bottled in July 2020 without dilution, with its natural colour and without chill-filtration.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose, butterscotch, toffee, grapefruit, orange zest and nutmeg. On the palate, waves of heather honey, butterscotch, pineapple and mocha, with grapefruit, orange zest and cinnamon.
