The Glen Keith distillery has been founded in 1959 by the Chivas Brothers group, on the site of an old mill on the banks of the river Isla, to supply juice for its then growing blends and to carry out various experiments with distillation. It is therefore still quite rare to see official bottlings from this distillery like this 21 year old Glen Keith bottled in June 2019. It is made from the GK/001 batch, which is composed of first and second fill barrels and butts.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose notes of ripe pear, soft peach, runny honey and vanilla toffee. On the palate, orchard fruit flavours marked by toasted almond. The finish is long and smooth with subtle zest.
