OUT OF STOCK FOR THE MOMENT
The Scapa distillery was founded in 1885 on the overhang of a sheltered bay in Orkney. During the First World War, it served as a base for the Royal Navy... and it is perhaps the most famous distillery for wreck divers, as 52 ships were deliberately sunk in the bay. For this batch GL03 bottled in July 2017, the whisky is aged in American oak casks and then finished in casks that have contained peated whisky. A perfect whisky for a gentle introduction to the world of peated whiskies.
