Description
Vikings legends wander around the Highland Park distillery and once again, with the participation of the Danish artist Jim Lyngvild, they come alive. According to one of them, the Vikings who met a fine and honourable death were marked out by the symbol of the Valknut, three interlinked triangles, and spirited away from the mortal world to the heavenly realm of Valhalla. For this second edition in the Viking Legend series, a higher proportion of Tartan barley grown in Orkney is used. A local peaty malt that gives a particular touch to this whisky mainly aged in American oak barrels impregnated with sherry.
