Appeared on the market in 2016 to commemorate the 200 years of the Lagavulin distillery, this single malt pays a tribute to Alfred Barnard, one of the first whisky journalists who, during his visit to the distillery in 1886, tasted a Lagavulin aged 8 years that he described as exceptional. It is on this inspiration that this single malt was elaborated.
