Description
Produced at the Midleton Distillery in the County of Cork, this Irish whiskey is made from a blend of malted and unmalted barley. Distilled three times, it aged at the distillery in bourbon and sherry casks for 7-10 years then spent another 12 months in French oak barrels having contained a Zinfandel red wine from Château Montelena in the Nappa Valley in California before being bottled. It's all the sweetness of Green Spot accompanied by a note of wine and spices.
