It is not far from the beaches of Goa in India that this single malt is elaborated. The distillery receives water from the surrounding mountains, the Western Ghats, and Indian barley from the foothills of the Himalayas. Added to this, a Scottish peat from the island of Islay which will give a malt at about 30ppm. This whisky is aged in first fill and second fill bourbon barrels for 3 to 5 years and enjoys an extra maturation due to the tropical climate. This single malt is part of the batch 01 of January 2019 bottled with its natural colour and without chill filtration which may reveal some deposits. A doubly interesting exotic whisky!
