In 2016 the Tullibardine distillery creates the “Marquess Collection” range that celebrates Sir William Murray, Marquis of Tullibardine. He was one of seven prominent historical figures who accompanied Bonnie Prince Charlie during the Jacobite uprising of 1745 to reclaim the throne for Stuart's House. Sixth edition in this collection, this whisky is distilled in 2007, aged in first fill bourbon barrels and bottled in 2019 without dilution. With its creamy notes, this single malt is a welcome introduction to discover a cask strength.
