The Glenturret Distillery founded in 1763 is one of the oldest in Scotland still in activity and, as so often in this period, its beginnings starts with illicit distillation and stories of smugglers. Since this distant period, the distillery has kept the charm of a small production. This 10-year-old Glenturret is part of the new 2020 range relooked by its new owner, the Lalique house. For this 2022 edition, this single malt is matured in first and second fill European and American oak casks. It’s a whisky with notes of peat fire, fresh citrus, vanilla and spices.
