Description
This 22 year old whisky was distilled in Scotland on 20th May 1997. Its maturation in the humid cellar dug out of the rock of the Maison Couvreur began in an ex-sherry fino cask during 17 years, then continued for the 5 the following years in an ex-Chenin wine cask from the French winery Le Sot de L'Ange on the Azay-le-Rideau vineyard in Indre-et-Loire. This whisky was bottled on 6th February 2020 at cask strength, with its natural colour and without filtration for an edition of 420 bottles.
