The distillery was founded in 2014 in the Cotswolds region in the south-west of England between hills and meadows. This young distillery proposes its distillates made with Odyssey barley from local farms. 90 hours of fermantation with the two varieties of yeasts Anchor and Fermentis give this whisky a fruity flavour. It is then distilled twice and diluted to 63.5% for aging in 125 litre quarter casks that once contained Scottish peated whisky. The intensity of the peaty aroma found in this whisky comes only from the cask. This whisky was bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration with its natural colour for an edition of 2950 bottles.
