Description
This Glen Scotia was distilled in 2008 and aged in a first-fill bourbon cask. It was then matured for an extra year in a first-fill hogshead ex-Ruby Port from which beautiful notes emerged. A cask strength whisky bottled in 2019 without chill-filtration and with its natural colour for an edition of 303 bottles.
Tasting notes of the distillery: A sweet peat smoke with red fruits, cranberry and raspberry and a honey sweetness. There is some fresh vanilla and lime, then cracked black pepper and ginger spice.
